The Queens Big Day

OK I am back from my trip and I have lots of fun pics to post. But today's post is much more important because it's my sisters birthday!!!! This is her- in a classic Lisa pose. She is a definitely the Queen and even makes her kids call her that!

Lisa and I are exactly 8 years and 9 days apart~ and we could not be more different. She is VERY type A and well, you all know me. She is so skinny I feel like I am going to break her when I hug her, and you all know me. She has to have everything perfect, she loves to cook, she worries about everything, she doesn't care for sports, she has a humanities major from BYU, she wakes up early, she hates the mud and doesn't like to be dirty or sweat, and again you all know me. But one of the things that we agree on is that she is FABULOUS!

Lisa would be the first to tell you that she is crazy, and she is! But she is also tender hearted, helpful, creative, hardworking, compassionate, responsible, has charity for others, gives great advice, is a good listener, makes AWESOME deserts, tells the BEST stories (you MUST read her blog), runs a crazy family well, keeps an absolutely beautiful home, serves the Lord, and honors us all by being a part of our lives! I truly am SO blessed to have her as my sister!

If I didn't have Lisa as my sister I would not have had the coolest hair in elementary school (she would french braid my hair in a circle around my head) or have had a wedding at all, and MANY other things in between! Right before Trav and I got married I lived with her family for a year and then when I was a newlywed we still lived really close. I miss those days for more reason then one, but alot if it was living so close to her.

Lisa I love you so dearly and cherish all you have taught me, your love and support, and our genuine friendship! I am so glad you read a People Magazine, ate a cupcake with a ridiculous amount of frosting, and I am sure drank a Coke on your big day! I couldn't have planned it for you any better myself! Happy Birthday!

I don't know if your sister cares if I read her blog, but I sure would be sad if she made it private! How can that skinny little creature eat that much dessert? As if life wasn't already unfair, I discovered your sisters blog! Loving her stories is an understatement! Ans as far as feeling harmony with the world at church, yes, BUT something is seriously wrong with you if you do NOT believe that Outlet malls do not bring serenity in a chaotic world. AMEN LISA, AMEN!
Missed your postings while you were gone, but I saw your sisters pics so that made me feel better! ha

what a sweet tribute...my older sister has lived in heaven my entire life, so I look forward to the day I can get to know her. I don't really know you (that well) so it was fun to see what she is like and think you are the opposite.
