Unfortunately I have failed as a scrapbooker (and now I guess as a blogger) because I do not have a recent picture of my mom by herself or one of her and I. So this one that I LOVE of her and my handsome husband will have to do.
My mom is no ordinary mom! She is an incredible mom and on this mothers day I just wanted to thank her for that!
Mom, I want to thank you for teaching me about what is truly important in life and for always making me important. I want to thank you for teaching me to have an opinion and to speak it. I want to thank you for teaching me how to pick a good husband, to serve the Lord, to love to read and sleep, to look for those that need service, and to be happy being myself! Also the last year you have definitely taught me how to be strong when faced against the toughest of what life has to throw at us, to do it with the Lord by our side, and to have an eternal perspective!
I know you hate this day where you get a carnation at church, but it is another chance for me to tell you how thankful I am for you! I not only love you, I adore you! Happy Mothers Day!

Emily, Your post about your mom made me cry. I have drugs to prevent that these days, so it moved me that much.your mom is amazing and wonderful, and I am so glad you shared her with me all those years ago. She has not only influenced your life, but others as well. Most thankfully mine. Happy Mothers Day to Sister Ginn. A beautiful example of a mother. Thanks a million! Love you guys!

The Joan is my favorite. She taught me how to love purses more than I ever thought imaginable. God bless her for that. And God bless the man that one day gets to pay the bills for all the purses I buy.
