Until 1 month ago we only had neices and nephews on my side. He absolutely loves all of our neices (there is 8 total) but to be truthful he ADORES my brother Kirks son Bubba (his real name is Henderson). And there is no denying that Bubba adores Travis! They have an adorable and special friendship that is obvious to all of us.
When Bubba was little he hadn't mastered the pronunciation of that hard "V", so TraVis became TraBis. Unfortunately Bubba now pronounces the V really well at the age of 7, but my brother still uses the B! Travis loves spending time with Bubba (and his daddy) and wishes we lived MUCH closer to him!

Travis now has another nephew that he has fallen in love with! Tyson is one month old and his uncle is allready wanting to play, buy him gifts, and take him golfing! Last night we were at Grandma's house where Tyson lives. He came home with Brandon and Kim and he was NOT happy to be in his car seat. Uncle TraBis was waiting at the door for his nephew. He immediately got Tyson out of the car seat, craddeled him, talked to him, and calmed him down! I know it seems so minor, but it was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen! I picked a good one!
Last Saturday we babysat Tyson. Travis fed him and then when he was burping him they both fell asleep. They were out cold sleeping like this for 45 mins. I literally just watched for half that time- yes I know it is obvious I am SO baby crazy! And I love my husband.

When I was pregnant, Travis said that he thought he wanted a little Daddy's Girl but he didn't really care if it was a boy or girl. Whatever it is, I have absolutely no doubt that he will be an AMAZING Uncle TraBis turned Dad!

Wow, I could tell that Travis was an awesome uncle. You know it kinda makes me wish we could have utilized his babysitting talent a little more when we were there in Hawaii. Ha, maybe when we come to visit, what do ya say Travis? Feeling up to it? J/K love you guys! Mer, Rett, and Kainoa :o)

Nice work on the cupcake football field! I always have great aspirations to make cute cakes for my kids birthdays but they NEVER turn out so I was seriously impressed with both of your skills!!
