Okay so I made a pretty sad attempt today and redesigning Kikuchi Korner. It was so sad because it took me almost 2 hours to figure out that it should have taken me 10 mins! See, I told you that I am a technological idiot in my first post! By the way I have also been informed by my very gracious sister that I not only am a terrible speller (I do call her alot when I am scrapbooking to spell words for me), BUT I apparently have a serious problem with run on sentences! And I'm pretty sure that last sentence was TOTALLY grammatically correct- right Lisa?
Okay so I like the new design so-so, but I don't love it. Travis really wants the Hawaiian Islands in the back ground but I couldn't find anything even close to that. I just need something a little more fun then what I've got. So now all of you fabulous bloggers have to help!. What are the sites you like to use for your templates? Miss Leo, Miss Shari, and Miss Meredith I hope you read this soon because your templates are so cute! And of course I love the rest of yours too! And if you are reading this and DON'T have a blog, then get to it! If I can do it~ trust me ~ you can too!!! How was the grammar on that one?

Emily, this new layout is very cute!
If you want some beach/hawaii layouts look on pyzam.com under "scenery layouts." I saw a few that looked like hawaii and even some that said they were hawaii.
I'll let you know if I find any others. :)
i likes yours. yes, i look at pyzam too. right now mine is just digital paper that i need to change. i'm searching for the new one. my problem with pyzam is that the boxes are too narrow for my videos and pictures. i'm trying to figure out how to stretch it bigger. that is why mine is still the same old, same old.
i also have a problem with run on sentences. it's ok! i treat my blog kind of like a journal and my journal entries are just one really long sentence!
Emily you're so cute! Just to ease your mind about the whole run on sentence thing. I graduated with a BA in English. I know my grammar is still horrible to this day. Ha,ha,ha, believe me, you're doing great. About your background. The best thing to do, if you want to put a picture in your background, is to use a hosting site (i.e Photobucket, which I love). You will have to create an account, it's free. But, once you create an account you can search anything on photobucket. I always put in searches for paper (christmas paper, winter paper, etc.). I kind of like the srapbook look. If you have any time on your hands here is a tutorial site that helps you change things on your blog. Hi Em, sorry I just thought I'd also mention a couple cautions about using Pyzam. I used that in the beginning too. There were a couple of things that happened to my blog once I started using Pyzam templates. First, when you switch templates you will lose some information on your present Pyzam template, you won't lose posts or anything. Just things like pieces of your layout and some of the things you customized may be lost. Antoher word of caution about using Pyzam, when you start generating a lot of plugins (tickers, music, slideshows, videos, etc.) your blog will take a long time to load up. Everything will eventually become slower. So, Pyzam is okay, as long as you don't plan on using too many plugins. Otherwise, it's just best to stick with the blogger templates and edit the blogger template html codes. Well, hope this helps, message me if you have any questions. Love ya, Mer :o)

Emily my love! I found you! Found you from a comment off of Jenn's. It was cool to read up on what you crazy cats have been up to. So sorry to hear about your dad. Maybe now we can stay in touch better, you'll have to check out mine.
Don't ask me because the site that we did use got busted for copyrights and so then we had blank forever. And now we just have black. Which I convince myself that it makes the pictures pop..
i have to say too that I look at pyzam but I have never used it. The only problem i have with pyzam is that the boxes cut off my pictures and videos. so i changed my template code and now i just leave it cause i like it expanded. so i can only change the paper and never the look. i'm not that technical...yet.
